CNC Machining
Computer-numeric controlled (CNC) machining
is a subtractive manufacturing process, where raw material is removed with a range
of cutting tools in some case precision cutting tools.
Advanced software is used to computationally
derive an effective 3 dimension tool path to ensure that the life of the tool
and ensure a quality surface finish is provided. This control of our equipment
according to the instructions of your solid model we can also use traditional 2
dimensional CAD drawings file along with 2 dimensional paper drawings if
required.
Our team of machinists program the
equipment to optimize cutting time, surface finish, and final tolerance to meet
your design specifications.
We use CNC machining not only to manufacture
finished parts and prototypes but also for the purpose of toolmaking our team
also have vast experience in manufacturing Australian made mould tools, plastic
injection moulding, pressure die casting, press tools and or Jigs fixtures.

A simple way to explain how a CNC machine
works, one could use the analogy of a car driving itself particularly if the
car drives along the same path over and over again it is similar for a
production machine to travel over the same path over and over again. Although a
car can basically drive anywhere yet it prefers to stay on the road similarly a
CNC machined can be programed to machine with a certain envelop or pocket. In
terms of programing, a human programs both devices a CNC machine tool path is
